Why did you decide to join Allm?
アルムに入社を決めた理由は？
I originally joined Allm on a part-time basis during the second year of my doctoral studies.
After obtaining my PhD, I decided to stay as full-time research engineer, since I liked the working environment, the people, and the work we were doing.
Please tell us about your current job role.
現在の担当業務について教えてください
I am a senior research engineer at Allm’s R&D division.
My job consists mainly of researching and creating prototypes of new systems and technologies, so that they can be implemented into new products, or used in order to improve our existing applications.
I also lead the development team behind Join’s web client and provide advice on multiple projects developed by our company.
What kind of person would be a good fit for Allｍ?

People who like challenging work.
Some of the problems we find during both research and development work are quite difficult, and many of them have not been solved anywhere else yet at the time they are found. Working on these tasks is by no means easy and often requires studying about multiple topics that you have never seen before.
What do you like about Allm?
アルムのどんなところが好きですか？
Our company has a great working environment. I particularly enjoy the degree of freedom and flexibility with which we are able to conduct our work, and the friendly atmosphere that surrounds our offices.
The projects we work on are also very interesting and encourage you to think outside the box for alternative solutions.
